These are the planned events and activities for March as captured in the last Troop Committee and PLC meetings. Please note that some of these events are subject to change, so check the Calendar of Events for the latest schedule information.
Key Events in March
March 2 – PLC 7pm to 8:30pm at St. Kathryn’s, all patrol leaders and assistant patrol leaders as well as Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Scribe need to attend.
March 2 – Committee Meeting 7pm, see separate email for those involved.
March 3 – Round Table 7pm in Nashua, only for Scoutmaster and Committee Chairman.
March 7 - Pancake Breakfast and Bake sale – St. Kathryn’s Church 8am to 12 noon. Scouts need to wear Class A uniforms and arrive for 8am if possible. If
March 9 – Deposits due for Hidden Valley Boy Scout Camp which is scheduled for August 1-7. A deposit of $50.00 is due for all the scouts who plan on attending , For further information on summer camp please visit our troop website at http://www.troop252hudson.org (The balance will be due by May 15th.)
March 16 – Regular troop meeting. All new scout parents please bring in all registration paperwork at this time.
March 19 – 21 – Troop Campout at Camp Wanocksett, Mount Monadnock
March 27 – St. Kathryn’s Spring Clean-up, 9am to 1pm. As per Father Gary’s request, he asked that we assist with the Spring and Fall Clean-up in exchange for using the facilities.
March 30 – No regular troop meeting. PLC meeting only in room 1. The following should attend: SPL, ASPL, PL's, Troop Scribe & Troop Quartermaster. The rest of the scouts have the night off. We cannot use the large hall due to cleaning activity in preparation for Holy Week activities.
Key Events in April
April and May –The troop will be having a Placemat Ad Fundraiser, Flyers and information to follow.
April 3 – Yard sale at Kiwanis Club from 8AM to 1PM. Any items that you would like to donate for sale would go to help the general troop fund.
April 10 – Christopher Gleason’s Eagle Court of Honor at St. Kathryn’s from 6 to 9pm. We will need assistance for set up from 12noon to 4pm. All scouts and parents should attend as this is the highest honor awarded in scouting.
Key Events in May
May 21 – 23 – Whitewater Rafting with Adventure Bound in Caratunk, Maine. Scouts as well as parents are invited to join us for this special annual event. If you plan on attending a deposit of $25.00 is due by March 23rd for each individual who is going rafting.
