Message from the Scout Master
Dear Parents and Scouts
The troop has to make finial payment for the rafting trip no later than May 5th , so it is important that all remaining payments for whitewater rafting be turned into the Troop treasure by the 4th of May. If you made a deposit of $25.00 per person the remaining $85.00 per person is due by the 4th of May. If you have any question on what you owe please contact Judy Bower the troop treasure; she has the latest and most up to date records. Judy will be at the upcoming troop meetings to accept payment by check or by cash, if that doesn’t, work you can contact me at the following number to make arrangements to drop off the final payments. Please be aware that I will be out of town from the 26 of April through the 30th of April and due to school vacation there will be no meeting on the 27th of April.
You will find the 3 PDF forms that need to be signed by the boys and brought into the meeting prior to the white water trip; The only form that needs to be signed by and for the adults is the Adventure Bound liability form, if you have any questions please give a call or talk with me at the meeting.

What to bring 2010
One additional note there will be a normal troop meeting on the 4th of May instead of a scheduled PLC (Patrol Leaders Council) meeting. The change in the calendar is accommodating planning for the Camporee that will take place on the weekend of 7th through 9th May. The location of the Camporee is here in Hudson at Hills house across from Alvirne HS.
Originally this Camporee was not on our yearly schedule due to the whitewater rafting trip being in the same month; however, the troop committee and boys have developed an interest in doing this Camporee as well as the whitewater rafting trip. There is only two weeks separating both activities and we are going to attempt to attend both activities in the month of May. This is going to make for a very busy month and we are going to need everyone’s cooperation to make this happen. Please keep an eye on the troop web page and a close eye on your Email traffic for updates.
